Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source simplified acquisition under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) to Logical Data Solutions, Inc. of Palm Beach Gardens, FL for continuing work on the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Corporate Information System (CIS), with the goal of revised and updated personnel databases and reports. Logical Data Solutions (LDS) has provided critical assistance to NIST, and provided proprietary software and software products. LDS's expertise and knowledge of the NIST environment makes them uniquely capable to expedite the completion of these follow-up requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received on or before July 31, 2002, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NAICS 541512
