Description
The U.S. Coast Guard intends to procure services to provide Accident/Incident Investigation Course. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Therefore, please read this entire notice, the instructions herein, and the attachment documents carefully. This acquisition will be made on an Unrestricted Basis. See Numbered Note 22 : This proposed procurement is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with DNV TRAINING SOLUTIONS, 3805 CRESTWOOD PARKWAY, STE 200, DULUTH, GA, 30096. Interested persons may identify their interest and capabilities with a Notice of Intent. However, this is not a request for competitive quotations. All correspondence must be received by JULY 31, 2002. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement SCOPE: Accident/Incident Investigation Course. Questions about this requirement must be in writing and submitted by fax or e-mail. Telephone inquiries are strongly discouraged. All inquiries must include the solicitation number, your full name, organization name, address, phone and fax numbers, and must be received by 12:00 (noon) ET, July 30, 2002. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
