- Timber Sale: Approximately 187 MBF(Scribner) of sawtimber at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, SC. The sale areas will comprise of approximately 85 acres on which trees may be cut. This sale is to be Lump Sum-Invitation No. N62467-02-B-0467. Bid opening is on Thursday, 05 September 2002, at 2:00pm (Local Time). The NAICS Code is 113310: Logging. The size standard is 500 employees. NOTICE: Additional security measures have been initiated after the events of 11 September 2001. You should take into account the impact of these measures in your response to this request. FOR SPECIFICATIONS: The Government intends to issue the solictation on the WEB only and through the Forestry Bidders List maintained by Ms. Kathy Radigan at (843)820-5676. Prospective Bidders MUST register themselves on the web site http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. The official planholders list will be maintained and can be printed from the web. Amendments will be posted on the web site for downloading. This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, IT IS THE BIDDERS RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION.
