Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) Dairy Programs, Federal Milk Marketing Order Program has a need for auditing services. The broad objective of the program is to determine whether Market Administrators are managing milk marketing orders in accordance with applicable regulations and instructions and by means of examination, analysis and review of operations. The agency is looking for certified public accountant (CPA) firm(s) to perform this effort for seven geographic regions located in the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Louisville, KY; Boston MA; Minneapolis MN; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; and Seattle, WA. Offerors may propose for one or more geographic areas. The Government may make multiple awards based on geographic area. This is a best value procurement that will result in the award of firm, fixed price contract(s). This effort is advertised as a 100% small business set aside under NAICS 541211. Small business size standard: Average annual revenue for the last three completed fiscal years not to exceed seven million dollars. It is anticipated that the formal solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP) 001-M-APHIS-03, will be released on or about August 15, 2002 and proposals will be due on or about September 16, 2002. The RFP will be posted on the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) web site at the following Internet address: http://www.aphis.usda.gov/mpls/contracts/cbd.html. Please download the RFP from this website. ALL INTERESTED PARTIES SHOULD E-MAIL THE CONTRACTING OFFICER IN ORDER TO BE PUT ON THE SOLICITATION LIST TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATIONS OF ANY AMENDMENTS ISSUED TO THE SOLICITATION. IN THEIR E-MAIL MESSAGE, PARTIES SHOULD INCLUDE THE SOLICITATION NUMBER AS WELL AS THEIR NAME, ADDRESS, TELEPHONE NUMBER, AND E-MAIL ADDRESS.
