NSN 7R-3110-01-455-5265-SN, Ref Nr (99207) 5042T13P03, Qty 528 EA, Delivery FOB Origin--The Naval Inventory Control Point Philadelphia intends to solicit proposals for the subsequent award of a Five year (2 Base Years; Three Option Years) Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contract for various TF34 aircraft engine bearings; in accordance with General Electric (99207) Part Number(s): NSN 7RE 3110-01-455-5265 SN, P/N 5042T13P03; NSN 7RE3110-00-167-7906SN, P/N 5024T40P0 1; NSN 7RE3110-01-463-4905SN, P/N 5041T41P03; NSN 7RE3110-01-455-5257SN, P/N 5 042T12P02; NSN 7RE3110-01-455-4077SN, 5042T14P02; 7RE3110-01-455-5250SN, P/N 5042T15P02.\Under PBL, the contractor's role is greatly expanded. The scope at a minimum include the following requirements: Warehousing, Packaging, Transportation, Asset Reporting, Availability/Fill Rate, Configuration Management, Quality Management, Repair and/or Replacement, Reliability, Procurement/Logistics Support, Inventory Management, etc.\ \The subject item(s) require Government source approval prior to contract award, as the items are flight critical and/or the technical data available has not been determined adequate to support full and open competition. Only those sources previously approved by the Government have been solicited. If your are not an approved source you must submit together with your proposal the information detailed in the U.S Navy Source Approval Information Brochure at www.navicp.navy.mil/prodserv/source/source.htm. The brochure identifies technical data required based on your company's experience in production of the same or similar item. If your request for source approval is currently being exaluated at NAVICP-P, submit with your proposal a copy of the cover letter forwarded with your source approval package. Please note, if evaluation of a source approval request submitted hereunder cannot be processed in time and/or approval requirements preclude the ability to obtain subject items in time to meet Government requirememts, award may continue based on Fleet support needs.
