Description

The Coast Guard intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole-source procurement to Motorola, 7230 Parkway Drive, Hanover, MD 21076 for the following items and quantities: (1) MC2500 Multi-Channel Deskset, Model No. L3217,14 Each, (2) Desk Microphone, Model No. HMN3000, 14 Each, (3) Headset jack box, Model No. DDN6516, 14 Each, (4) Single Footswitch, Model No. DDN668, 14 Each, (5) Programming Cable with DB9 connector, Model No. DD6367, 4 Each, (6) Radio Service software for MC2500, Model No. RVN4178, 4 Each. The NAICS Code is 334290. The small business size standard is 750 employees. The contract type will be a firm-fixed price. If no responses are received within fifteen (15) days of this notification, with sufficient information to determine that another responsible source is available, negotiations will be conducted with Motorola. NO TELEPHONE INQURIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. The solicitation will be issued on or about 19 Aug 2002, and closing on or about 02 September 2002. The following notice is for informational purposes: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
