Description
The Air Armament Center, Precision Strike System Program Office intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Compuplus Inc, Costa Mesa, California for the procurement of additional ?Hotswap Hard Drives? for the Mission Squadron Trainer (MST). Hotswaps are required for database updates and future new databases. The Hotswap Hard Drives contain and store the target information required by the MST. Target information is classified and the drives must be certified to access and store this data. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Matters of a routine or administrative nature should be addressed to Lt Jacqueline R. An ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
