Description

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Las Cruces Field Office, has a requirement for thinning of 110 acres of various fuel types for hazardous fuel reduction west of Pinos Altos, West of State highway 15, Grant County, New Mexico. The contractor is to provide all necessary material, equipment and labor to complete the project. Period of performance for this project is 120 days from date of award. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns and will be awarded on a firm fixed-price basis. This solicitation will be available on or about August 15, 2002. There will be a site visit on August 27, 2002. Bid responses will be due on September 13, 2002. Bidders are requested to visit the Department of Interior (DOI) website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov for a copy of the solicitation.
