- Description
- The Department of Treasury, Bureau of the Public Debt, intends to issue a solicitation for Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services on a nationwide basis, including the continental United States, Hawaii, Alaska, the District of Columbia, U. S. Territories and possessions. Contractors must demonstrate the capability to provide service on a nationwide basis by proposing on at least 75 percent of the states within the continental United States. On an optional basis, service may also be provided internationally. The resulting contract(s) will meet the needs for customer agencies (Federal government) of FedSource/GoTo.Gov/FBA. FedSource/GoTo.Gov/FBA is a partnership of Franchise Business Activities (FBA?s) within the Treasury Department composed of FedSource ? Beaufort, FedSource ? Chicago, FedSource-Seattle, FedSource ? St. Louis, GoTo.Gov (located in Baltimore, MD), and FBA ? Central (located in Cincinnati, OH). The objective of the EAP is to provide access to, and provide services from, appropriate prevention, treatment and rehabilitation programs provided to employees of FedSource/GoTo.Gov/FBA customer agencies with alcohol, drug, mental, emotional, family or other personal problems adversely affecting job performance. The EAP will also provide guidance to supervisors on how to effectively manage the problems of employees whose job performance may be affected by these identified problems.The contractor(s) shall be required to provide all management, supervision, and labor to meet the requirements of the task orders. The Government anticipates making multiple awards of indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts that provide for combination fixed-price labor-hours task orders. This solicitation is being issued on an unrestricted basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this solicitation is 624190 and the Small Business Size Standard is $6 million. The contract(s) will have a base period with four one-year option periods. An electronic notice will be sent to you when the documents are available for downloading, as the solicitation is NOT available at the time of this initial posting. Please note that the General Services Administration provides the notification service as a convenience and does not guarantee that notifications will be received by all persons on the mailing list. Therefore, we recommend that you monitor the EPS site for all information relevant to desired acquisitions. Once a notice is received from GSA, offerors need to return to the EPS web site and click on ?EPS for Vendors? and enter the solicitation number (BPD-02-R-0011) in order to locate the posting of the solicitation.
