Description
Air Force Research Laboratory, SENSORS Directorate, Sensor ATR Technology Division (AFRL/SNA) solicits research proposals for the Data, Integration, and Visualization for Automatic Target Recognition Systems (DIVAS) Program. The objective of the DIVAS program is provide a broad range of technical tasks associated with the development, operation and analysis of innovative sensor-based knowledge engineering & management technologies by applying advanced engineering and computer technologies to improve capabilities which support and accelerate research and development of ATR and Sensor Fusion (SF) systems. The effort will leverage, extend and integrate current Sensor Data Management System (SDMS), Virtual Distributed Library (VDL), and High Performance Computing Distributed Center (HPCDC) efforts and associated activities within AFRL. A web site has been established that provides background information on past and current ATR evaluation R&D activities at AFRL. The information found at the site is NOT an official part of this announcement. It is provided for informational purposes only. https://readingroom.divas.vdl.afrl.af.mil/ReadingRoom.htm. This information consists of a list of facilities and activities within the Sensors Directorate that support the research, development, testing, and evaluation of automatic target recognition (ATR) algorithms, sensor fusion (SF) algorithms, and related software. Access to this information is NOT mandatory for preparation of a response to this PRDA or for contract award. The week of 12 August ? 16 August 2002 will be available for tours through the laboratory facility by appointment only during the hours of 9:00 am to 2:00 pm; a secret security clearance is required.
