Description
QTY REQUESTED: 19,200/1 ORDER 8040-01-458-2768 UI: TU ADHESIVE : DESCRIPTION A permanent, flexible, abrasion resistant, polyurethane rubber repair adhesive and waterproofing sealant for bonding to Nylon, vinyl, polyester, Neoprene, canvas, wood, metal, and ceramic. Size: The product shall be furnished in 1 oz quantities in factory-sealed, collapsible metal or plastic tubes having resealable screw-cap closures of the type normally used for this product provided that the there will be no interaction chemically or physically with the contents so as to damage the tube or alter the strength, quality, or purity of the contents. The filled tubes shall be closed in a manner that will insure that the contents will not spill or leak from the tube during shipment, handling, storage, and redistribution. Shelf life code: 8 (4 years) Maximum age on delivery: 6 months McNett Corporation, product Seam Grip 10510. ITEM MARKING Each item shall be marked with the following: (1) lot or batch number (2) dates of manufacture and reinspection (3) manufacturer's name and part number (4) instructions for use, thinning, mixing, shaking, etc. (5) instructions for storage, i.e. do not freeze, requires refrigeration, etc. PACKAGING INTERMEDIATE PACKAGING: Not more than 25 units packaged as specified above shall be further packaged in a close-fitting, corrugated fiberboard box conforming to Section 6(a), Rule 41 of the Uniform Freight Classification and Item 222 of the National Motor Freight Classification (200 minimum burst). Closure of the boxes shall be in accordance with Section 7 of Rule 41 of the Uniform Freight Classification. PACKAGING: Intermediate packaged boxes shall be packed in a close-fitting, corrugated fiberboard box conforming to Section 6(a), Rule 41 of the Uniform Freight Classification and Item 222 of the National Motor Freight Classification (200 minimum burst). Closure of the boxes shall be in accordance with Section 7 of Rule 41 of the Uniform Freight Classification. MARKING All unit, intermediate, transport packages and unit loads shall be marked for delivery to civilian activities in accordance with the FED-STD-123G, dated June 6, 1997, or marked for delivery to military activities in accordance with MIL-STD-129N, dated 15, May, 1997, as applicable.
