Description

Amendment #1 issued to add the following information - In accordance with Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures, National Park Service intends to issue an Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the removal of existing roofing panels and the installation of new PBU ("M") metal roofing panels manufactured by MBCI attached to 2x4 wood purlins over plywood sheathing. The existing roof area is approximately 1,800 SF hipped roof with a 4:12 slope. Work also includes the application of an electrostatically applied roof paint coating system manufactured by Tnemec Company, Inc. over an approximately 1,800 SF hipped roof with a 4:12 slope at Lindpoint housing area on St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands. Unit 126A shall receive the roof paint coating system and Unit 126B shall receive the new performed metal roof. Specific directions to, and arrangements to view the proposed work site will be provided to offerors upon request and with at least two business day's notice to the Project Inspector (PI) - Walt Keyes (340) 693-8989, ext. 24. This is a Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 23332; the size standard is $27.5 million. Estimated price range: Between $25,000 and $100,000. Tentative issue date August 13, 2002. The Department of Interior's (DOI) National Business Center (NBC) website is http://ideasec.nbc.gov. All interested parties desiring to conduct business with DOI are requested to register at the website. RFQ documents will be available in Microsoft Word, HTML and Adobe PDF formats.
