- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are be ing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DAAE20-02-T-0413. This is a small Business Set Aside, Clause 52.219.6, Notice of Small Business Set-aside. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract for one 5th Wheel Trailer. Description: Trailer weight: 2,400 lbs +/- 200 lbs, Trailer payload: 8,100 lbs, Ruggedized aluminum design, Goose-neck storage area, Dual 8k torque-glex running gear, Hydraulically actuated electric brake system, HMMWV brake and indicator lights, HMMWV tires and rims, DOT rated emergency breakaway system, 12,000 lbs capacity lift and tie down rings, Retractable platform ladder, Spare HMMWV tire/wheel assembly, CARC color Green, No fender wells, compatible with HMMWV?S existin g shelter mounting points and height adjustable fifth-wheel coupler. FOB destination with shipment to Rock Island, IL. Inspection and acceptance shall be in accordance with commercial practices; i.e., Certificate of Conformance. The following addenda are recommended: The contractor shall ship with a Certificate of Conformance. The contractor's signed certificate shall be attached on the top copy of the Standard Form 1449 distributed to the payment office or attached to the Contracting Administration Offic er copy when contract administration (block 16 of the SF 1449) is performed by the Defense Contract Management Command. In addition, a copy of the signed certificate shall also be attached to or entered on copies of the SF 1449 accompanying the shipment. T he certificate shall confirm that supplies or services conform in all respects with all contract requirements, and all statements on the SF 1449. The delivery is due by 1 Nov 02. The contractor shall provide the company's standard commercial warranty cove rage for all products furnished under this contract. Offerors are reminded to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3; Offeror Representations and Certifications can be obtained by calling the point of contact listed in this notice. Clause 52 .212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders - Commercial Items; Clause 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors ? Commercial items, Clause 52.212-2, Ev aluation ? Commercial Items will be based on Price only, are hereby incorporated by reference. Signed and dated offers are due by August 30, 2002 3:45 PM Central daylight.
