- Description
- The General Services Administration is seeking to lease office space consisting of approximately 22,125 rentable square feet of contiguous space(can be on 2 floors, if floors are consecutive) with a minimum of seven (7) reserved off street parking space(s) in the area of Los Angeles, California. Rentable space must yield 19,239 to 20,201 BOMA usable square feet, available for use by the Social Security Administration for personnel, furnishings and equipment. The term of the lease is 15 years, 10 years firm. All space must be located in a prime commercial office district with attractive, prestigious, professional surroundings and a prevalence of modern design and/or tasteful rehabilitation in modern use. Streets and public sidewalks should be well maintained. All space should be located with a variety of inexpensive, moderately priced fast food and/or eat-in-restaurants within 3 Blocks, regularly scheduled public transportation and/.or employee parking within two blocks sufficient to cover commuting and visitor needs should be available. Amenities such as retail shops, cleaners, banks, etc. should also be available within one-half (.5) mile. Buildings offered must be of quality, of sound and substantial construction of the type generally recognized as modern office type buildings having fully adequate means of ingress and egress, must be altered or constructed to meet Government requirements, and must be fully serviced. The building must also conform to the seismic requirements for new construction of the current edition of the Uniform Code or the 1976 edition if the lateral load resisting system is of concrete, masonry or steel construction.
