Description

NA Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Defense Group Inc. to support Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Operational Applications Division (DTRA/TDO) in the upcoming Homeland Security Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration (HSL ACT D). Objectives of this requirement involve enhancements to DGI's CoBRA (Chemical Biological Response Aide) software tool. The enhancements include adaptation and fielding of a server-based architecture with the CoBRA functionality, adaptation of the exis ting CoBRA software to the needs of the HLS ACTD, augmentation of the data exchange capabilities of the HLS ACTD and improvement of the reach-back support provided by DTRA to the HLS ACTD. In addition, DTRA contemplates it will acquire the enhanced CoBRA licenses, maintenance, a web-enabled CoBRA architecture and training. The Government anticipates the award of a contract with a twelve (12) month period of performance. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. SEE NOTE 22. A determination by t he Government to not conduct this effort as a full-and-open competitive procurement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
