Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for installation of culverts on firebreaks at Alligator River NWR to be used as tractor crossings. Government to supply culverts, contractor to transport and install to specifications and map. This is not a small business set aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 234910. The size standard is $28.5 million. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The tentative RFQ issue date is on or about September 9/10, 2002. Requests for RFQ shall be in writing, stating RFQ number 401812Q309, complete company name, point of contact, address, area code and phone number. A firm-fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 60 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is 9/23/02. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Requests may be faxed to (404)679-4057. There is no charge for obtaining the solicitation; however, only one copy to each company per request.
