Description
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is requesting quotations from vendors for a Nash Vacuum pump model H-6 single stage, double lobe, positive displacement rotary liquid ring vacuum pump in cast iron construction, the pump has stuffed packing glands to seal the shaft, the pump will operate at 950 RPM providing 340 ACFM at 20 inches high VAC requiring 18 GPM of seal water, bare pump only, OR EQUAL, Quantity: 1 ea. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business (see numbered note 1). The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code 333911, with a small business size standard is 500 employees. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ 19-121. Delivery shall be made within 30 days after receipt of purchase order. Deliver terms are F.O.B. Destination to Bureau of Engraving & Printing, D Street between 13th & 14th Street S W, Washington D C 20228. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be price. All interested small business is requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF1449, SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS numbers, size status (that is, small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule, please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due by 2:00 P.M. on September 05, 2002. Quotations may be mailed to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Office of Procurement, Attn: Rosa Lee, 14th and C street, S.W., Washington, D.C. 20228-001 or faxed to Rosa Lee at 202-874-3135.
