- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-02-Q-5883. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2000-07. NAICS Code 334119, size standard is 1000 employees. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: Item 0001, P/N HW)AE/CW/CI Haystack Logistics Support Service Complete, qty (1). Item 0002: P/N HCOAB, CD-Rom for Windows as a two (2) simultaneous User, qty (1): Item 0003: P/N PVADD, Network with monthly updating service . Required delivery is Oct 01, 2002. F.O.B. Destination Naval Station DETNORF, Portsmouth, VA. It is expected to place a purchase order with Information Handling Services, P O Box 6720, Englewood, Colorado, 80155-6720. They are the only known source for these items because this is a renewal of software services already in place, and therefore provides continued Logistics Service Monthly updates. The proposed software has been government tested, certified and approved to operate 100% compatible with the NUWCDETFEO LAN and previously procured network equipment. Interruption of software subscription service will have an adverse effect on logistics research requirements resulting in extensive delay charges assigned to the government for delays in identification, procurement, installation and maintenance of 2M/MTR ILS Support Kits. A completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items must be submitted with quote. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, and DFARS 52.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items apply. The following addenda or additional terms and conditions apply: none. Offers should include price and delivery terms and the following additional information: none required. Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating of DO-C9 applies.
