Description

The Bureau of alcohol, Tobbacco and Firearms ATF intends to negotiate under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 a sole Sole Source agreement with Merant Support Net to renew Merant?s Support Net Services to support the Bureau?s mainframe computer system. Merant?s Support Net Services for PVCS tools include: in house training to ATF administrators and users: Support Net Answerline 24 hours a day, seven days a week via e-mail and telephone: Support Net online internet services including up to date technical research add-on tools and utilities on-line problem reporting and tracking system to submit issues directly to an Answerline. Representative product updates and product documentation downloads. Services will be for a period of 1 year. This award will be made utilizing the simplified acquisitions procedures under FAR subpart 13.5. Award will be based on meeting the requirements listed above, on an all or none basis. All interested parties must submit a technical proposal that demonstrated the capability to provide premium maintenance support services for Merants PVCS automated tools to include cost, within 1 day after the date of this publication. All quotes must include detailed literature on ability and resources to perform this service. Quotes are acceptable by mail of fax to 202 927-8688 to Attn: Sonia Goodman. All responses must be in writing. No telephone inquires will be accepted. No solicitation document exists.
