Description

NA Defense Contracting Command - Washington intends to award on a sole source basis IAW FAR 6.302-1, Only one Responsible Source, a contract to Salient Stills to provide video to still software technology, with the increased requirement for better intelligenc e and surveillance, the Government is interested in leveraging technical advantages, including high quality still photos. With patented core technology, Salient Stills has developed image and video processing products that enable customers to capture and select a single frame from any video and create a high-resolution image that can be processed, printed and published. The contractor will deliver and make operational three complete sets of hardware and software at three different facilities. Also, they will train the personnel and support the initial operational phase of the data exploitation product. No solicitation will be available. This announcement is for information only.
