Description
Anticipated Solicitation Issue Date: N/A. The United States Marine Corps (USMC), Blount Island Command, intends to purchase Portable Loading Ramps under GSA schedule. This is a notice of intent to award sole source to Innovative Technical Network Corporation (ITN). Commercial item description of a portable loading ramp follows: the ramps are to be used to load and unload cargo, via a forklift into a Standard End Opening Steel Freight International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Container, for use in the USMC, Maritime Prepositioning Force (MPF) program. The ramp must be lightweight, one piece, and corrosion resistant aluminum. The ramp must not weigh more than 130 lbs., with handles on each side to facilitate manual portability. These handles will also be utilized to secure the ramp inside the container during international deployments. The ramps should be easily moved by at least two people. The width of the ramp must be 84 inches +/- 1/2 inch, (driving surface minimum). The ramp flange interfacing with the end doorsill must extend a minimum of 5.75 inches over the bottom sill from the bridge structure of the ramp, with a 10-degree maximum incline. The total length of the ramp must not exceed 40 inches (maximum) and the total width must not exceed 90 inches (maximum), including handles. The total profile or thickness of the ramp must not exceed 4 inches because of unique storage provisions required. Aluminum Strength will have a minimum load rating of 12,000 lbs. The offeror shall submit test documentation from a testing organization or testing society affirming the portable ramp can withstand the weight requirement of 12,000 lbs. The ramp must achieve tire traction friction for wet weather elements, with forklift tires that are fabr icated from solid rubber or pneumatic tires. All ramps shall be metal stamped with a serial number for accountability purposes. Drawings are not available. Initial quantity 200 each and an option quantity of 320 each will be required. Offerors shall submit commercial brochures, technical information and/or pictures/drawings of their product. No solicitation will be issued. Award will be made after 15 days of this notice. The Government will consider all proposals received within 15 days of this publication.
