Description
NA The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has a requirement to provide 19 co-located lodging rooms with kitchenettes, and furnished office space in Anniston, Alabama in support of the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) Treaty escort mission. This requirem ent is from about October 1, 2002 through September 30, 2003 with options extending through September 30, 2006. The lodging rooms will be continually occupied by a succession of inspectors and their escorts during this time period, including all weekends within this period that races are held at Talladega. The facilities must meet the following requirements: 1. Lodging rooms must be co-located; 2. Rooms must be located within a 30-minute drive of the Anniston Chemical Disposal Facility, Anniston, Alabama to meet operational and shift requirements of the facility in performance of the CWC continuous monitoring mission; 3. Rooms must be in a low crime area; 4) Rooms must be located within a 15-minute drive to the following conveniences: laundry and dry-clean ing services, restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping centers or shopping areas; 5. Rooms must contain or have unrestricted access to full-sized kitchens or kitchenettes for both inspectors and escorts; 6. The office space must be at least 150 square fee t and located either at or adjacent to the lodging rooms; 7. The office space will be used seven days a week from 6:00 AM until 11:00 PM; and 8. Parking spaces and a driver staging area capable of accommodating six vehicles. A full and open competitive sol icitation will be issued on or about September 16, 2002.
