Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20001213. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3679. NAICS is 334220. The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) is seeking sources for the anticipated purchase of the following forty-one (41) items. 1. 903-6008004-01 (RFG&I) Generation Processor CCA (GP) This is a CEESIM MkN circuit card that transforms data packets from the control computer subsystem of a CEESIM MkN simulator into Pulse Descriptor Words (PDWs). The GP must be compatible with the CEESIM MkN Digital Generation Subsystem (DGS) chassis and power supply inputs, and be able to successfully interface with both the control computer and Non-real time to real time converter and Transmit Processor/ Receive Processor (NTP/RP) CCA via a high-speed interface. This CCA must also interface with the Output Controller Transition Module CCA, the NTP/RP CCA to receive clock signals. This CCA must also have the capability of passing PDWs to the NTP/RP CCA. 2. 903-6008013-01 (RFG&I) Fiber Optic Distribution CCA (FOD) This is a CEESIM MkN circuit card that provides expansion for the timing and control digital interface between the Digital Generation Subsystem (DGS) and RF Generation Subsystem (RFGS) peripheral hardware. The FOD must be compatible with the CEESIM MkN DGS VME chassis and power supply inputs. Digital timing and control words from the MkN Output Controller (OC) CCA are received and re-transmitted to the RFGS peripheral CCAs to ensure that timing and control data are received at the same time. 3. 903-6008021-04 (RFG&I) Output Controller Transition Module for the IRIG This is a CEESIM MkN circuit card that provides an external time data interface between the IRIG CCA and Output Controller Transition Module. This CCA must be compatible with the CEESIM MkN DGS VME chassis and power supply inputs, and be capable of receiving timing signals from the IRIG CCA via the VME chassis, and passing them to the Output Controller Transition Module to keep the CEESIM synchronized external systems. 4. 903-6008017-01 (RFG&I) Power Supply 1200, 3.3, +5, +/-12 This is a power supply slide out module that has been configured to fit in an MkN CEESIM simulator Angle Of Arrival (AOA) drawer. It must be able to interface with drawer backplanes, and supply DC power to all AOA drawer RF components and up to four peripheral CCAs. The input power requirements must be 85 to 264 volts AC at 50/60 Hz. All DC/DC outputs must be filtered using an LC filter to reduce ripple output. 5. 903-6008018-01 (RFG&I) Power Supply 600 W This is a power supply slide out module that has been configured to fit in an MkN CEESIM simulator RF Combiner drawer. It must be able to interface with drawer backplanes via Molex connectors, and supply DC power to all RF Combiner drawers RF components and one BIT Decoder CCA. The input power requirements must be 85 to 264 volts AC at 50/60 Hertz. All DC/DC outputs must be filtered using LC filters to reduce ripple output. 6. 903-6008029-05 (RFG&I) Non-real time to real time converter and Transmit Processor/ Receive Processor CCA (NTP/RP) This is a CEESIM MkN circuit card that receives PDWs from the Generation Processor CCA, places them in real time order, modifies them by calculating relative vector data for each emitter, and outputs them in real time order. The NTP/RP CCA must be compatible with the CEESIM MkN Digital Generation Subsystem VME chassis and power supply inputs, and be able to successfully interface with the control computer. 7. 903-6008015-03 (RFG&I) Fiber Optic InterFace CCA (FOI/F) This is a CEESIM MkN circuit card located in the rear vertical slot of the RF generator or BIT Decoder drawer. The FOI/F CCA provides the digital interfaces between the CEESIM Digital Generation Subsystem (DGS) Output Controller or Fiber Optic Distribution. 8. 903-6008038-02 (RFG&I) RF Generation Panel PWB This is a CEESIM MkN circuit card PWB configured to fit within the rear horizontal RF Generator drawer and interface with the backplane for digital and analog control, and power requirements. This is a blank PWB panel designed to be configurable to support the following applications: modulating RF input from either a synthesizer or internal DTO for pulse width, pulse repetition interval, amplitude modulation on pulse, phase modulation on pulse, high fidelity intrapulse modulation, and transmit attenuation control, by accepting control signals through the backplane and routing them to relevant RF components on the panel. 9. 903-5004002-01 (RFG&I and RFEM) 1P6T Switch Assembly This is a component of the CEESIM RF BIT Inject Drawer and is used in conjunction with the vector Network Analyzer (VNA) to route the output of the VNA to the proper injection point in the simulator. The switches in this assembly must be configured to accept VNA generated RF signals via SMA connectors, rout them by means of digital control to one of three different paths according to frequency, provide necessary amplification and equalization functions, and output them to the proper injection point. 10. A9000-000214 (RFG&I) AMP, 16 dB 0.1-2 GHz ?RF amplifier that operates in the 100 MHz to 2 GHz frequency range. ESD requirements specify this item must be manufactured IAW DOD-STD-1686. A MTBF of 5,000 hours as a minimum is required. 11. A9000-020619 (RFG&I) AMP, 2.0-6 GHz ?RF amplifier that operates in the 2 GHz to 6 GHz frequency range. ESD requirements specify this item must be manufactured IAW DOD-STD-1686. A MTBF of 5,000 hours as a minimum is required. 12. A9000-020807 (RFG&I) AMP, 2.0-8 GHz ?RF amplifier that operates in the 2 GHz to 8 GHz frequency range. ESD requirements specify this item must be manufactured IAW DOD-STD-1686. A MTBF of 5,000 hours as a minimum is required. 13. A9000-061828 (RFG&I) Amplifier, 6.0 ? 18.0 GHz RF Amplifier that operates from the 6.0 to 18.0 Ghz frequency range. ESD requirements specify this item must be manufactured under a manufacturing system that employs methods of control as utilized in DOD-STD-1686. A MTBF of 5,000 hours as a minimum is required. 14. 9011-000303 (RFG&I) Switch, 1P1T 0.5-2.6 GHz This is a 1 pole 1 throw RF switch used in a low band RF generation panel to created pulsed RF from a CW source, and operates in the 0.5 to 2.6 GHz frequency range. ESD requirements specify this item must be manufactured IAW DOD-STD-1686. A MTBF of 5,000 hours as a minimum is required. 15. A9011-021802 (RFG&I) Switch, 1P1T 2-18 GHz - This is a 1 pole 1 throw RF switch used in mid-band, and high band RF generation panel to created pulsed RF from a CW source, and operates in the 2.0 to 18.0 GHz frequency range. ESD requirements specify this item must be manufactured IAW DOD-STD-1686. A MTBF of 5,000 hours as a minimum is required. 16. A9012-000202 (RFG&I) Switch, 1P2T 0.1-2.0 GHz This is a 1 pole 2 throw RF switch for the 0.1 to 2.0 GHz range, and is used in the low band RF Generation Panel to select either internal or external RF sources. ESD requirements specify this item must be manufactured IAW DOD-STD-1686. A MTBF of 5,000 hours as a minimum is required. 17. A9012-021801 (RFG&I) Switch, 1P2T 2.0 ? 18.0 GHz This is a 1 pole 2 throw RF switch for the 0.1 to 2.0 GHz range, and is used in the mid-band and high band RF Generation Panel to select either internal or external RF sources. ESD requirements specify this item must be manufactured IAW DOD-STD-1686. A MTBF of 5,000 hours as a minimum is required. 18. A9016-000205 (RFG&I) Variable Attenuator, 0.5 ? 2.0 GHz 90db This is a digitally controlled RF attenuator with variable attenuation rate. This item is used on the low band RF generation panel to model transmit antenna attention patterns. ESD requirements specify this item must be IAW DOD-STD-1686. A MTBF of 5,000 hours as a minimum is required. 19. A9016-000209 (RFG&I) Amplitude Modulation Attenuator This is a digitally controlled RF attenuator located on the low band RF panels and is used to create amplitude modulation for intra-pulse modulation effects. ESD requirements specify this item must be manufactured IAW DOD-STD-1686. A MTBF of 5,000 hours as a minimum is required. 20. A9030-021801 (RFG&I) RF Equalizer, 2-18 GHz This is an RF equalizer used on the mid-band and high-band RF panels to filter RF signals prior to being amplified, and operates in the 2.0 to 18.0 GHz frequency range. ESD requirements specify this item must be manufactured IAW DOD-STD-1686. A MTBF of 5,000 hours as minimum is required. 21. A9000-000213 (RFG&I) Amplifier, 11db, 0.1-2.0 GHz This is an RF Amplifier used in the low-band RF Generation panel to overcome insertion loss of RF signals in the 100 MHz to 2.0 GHz frequency range. ESD requirements specify this item must be manufactured IAW DOD-STD-1686. A MTBF of 5,000 hours as minimum is required. 22. A9068-061801 (RFG&I) VMOD Leg, 6-18 GHz This is an RF vector Modulator located on the high-band RF panel, and is used for phase shifting, attenuation and filtering of RF signals at the 2.0 to 6.0 GHz frequency range. The Vector Modulator Leg is a commercial grade, connectorized component with TTL logic control. It provides in an integrated module: a digitally controlled variable attenuator, gain stages, a vector modulator function, and digitally selectable switched filtering. ESD requirements specify this item must be manufactured IAW DOD-STD-1686. A MTBF of 5,000 hours as minimum is required. 23. A9052-000201 (RFG&I) VMOD Leg, 0.5 to 2.0 GHz This is an RF Vector modulator located on the low-band RF panel that performs phase shifting of RF signals in the 0.5 to 2.0 GHz frequency range. ESD requirements specify this item must be manufactured IAW DOD-STD-1686. A MTBF of 5,000 hours as minimum is required. 24. A9052-000203 (RFG&I) Linear I/Q Vector Modulator, 0.5-2.0 GHz This is an activeVector Modulator RF component located on the low-band RF panel that is used to generate High Fidelity Intrapulse Modulations in the 0.5 to 2.0 GHz frequency range. ESD requirements specify this item must be manufactured IAW DOD-STD-1686. A MTBF of 5,000 hours as minimum is required. 25. A9052-061806 (RFG&I) Linear I/Q Vector Modulator, 6-18 GHz This is an activeVector Modulator RF component located on the high-band RF panel that is used to generate High Fidelity Intrapulse Modulations in the 6.0 to 18 GHz frequency range. ESD requirements specify this item must be manufactured IAW DOD-STD-1686. A MTBF of 5,000 hours as minimum is required. 26. A9052-020603 (RFG&I) Linear I/Q Vector Modulator 2-6 GHz This is an activeVector Modulator RF component located on the mid-band RF panel that is used to generate High Fidelity Intrapulse Modulations in the 2.0 to 6.0 GHz frequency range. ESD requirements specify this item must be manufactured IAW DOD-STD-1686. A MTBF of 5,000 hours as minimum is required. 27. A3021-000172 (RFG&I) Fast Ethernet TP ? Fiber CNV This is a communication adapter that converts standard Ethernet to fiber optic signals for transmission over fiber optic wires. 28. A3021-000183 (RFG&I) 24 Port 10/100 ENET Switch This is an Ethernet switch used in the Digital Generation Subsystem (DGS) of the CEESIM MkN Simulator for effectively routing Ethernet communication between the circuit cards of the DGS and the control computer. 29. A3021-000235 (RFG&I) Category 5 KVM Extender This item is an adapter that Converts keyboard, mouse and video signals into a format that can be transmitted over RJ-45 cables. This is used in the CEESIM Simulator to connect user input equipment to the Digital Generation Subsystem and control computer rack assembly. 30. A9019-002003 (RFEM) HP 83752A Synthesizer This item is a synthesized signal Generator that is used to supply local oscillator signals to mixers in both the Analysis Receiver and Monitor Receiver in the RFEM. 31. 225-5004001-01 (RFEM) ECA Seton Module 1 This is an electronic modular assembly that is part of the RF Emitter Measurement system and forms one of the two channels in the Seton receiver drawer. This module contains several RF components including and equalizer, amplifier, power divider and RF switch. All power inputs are received from the receiver drawer backplane. This module must be able to interface via ethernet with the RFEM ECA Origin 2000 control computer. RF signals are received via front panel connectors and routed through the switch set based on digital control signals. This module must also have a video output via BNC connector on the front panel that is routed to the DVLA. RF BIT signals for the BIT oscillator input are received from Seton Module 3 also from front panel connectors. 32. 225-5004002-01 (RFEM) ECA Seton Module 2 This is an electronic modular assembly that is part of the RF Emitter Measurement system and forms the second of the two channels in the Seton receiver drawer. This module contains several RF components including and equalizer, amplifier, power divider and RF switch. All power inputs are received from the receiver drawer backplane. This module must be able to interface via ethernet with the RFEM ECA Origin 2000 control computer. RF signals are received via front panel connectors and routed through the switch set based on digital control signals. This module must also have a video output via BNC connector on the front panel that is routed to the DVLA. RF BIT signals for the BIT oscillator input are received from Seton Module 3 also from front panel connectors. 33. 225-5004003-01 (RFEM) ECA Seton Module 3 This is an electronic modular assembly that is part of the RF Emitter Measurement system and is used to supply BIT oscillator signals to the two channels of the Seton receiver drawer. This module contains two RF components, an RF amplifier and power divider. All power inputs are received from the receiver drawer backplane. This module must be able to interface via ethernet with the RFEM ECA Origin 2000 control computer. RF signals are received via front panel connectors and routed through the switch set based on digital control signals. 34. 225-5004047-01 (RFEM) ECA Module Fiber Optic Switch This item is a commercial off the shelf item configured to mount within the monitor carts. It is a fiber optic switch that is used to select one of two video signals from the transmit carts for monitoring purposes. The video output of this switch provides a signal that is routed directly to the Video Receiver Receive Interface unit. 35. 225-6008007-01 (RFEM) Analysis Processor CCA (RIU 9) This is a circuit card assembly located in the Monitor Control Cart (MCC) 1 VXI chassis. This CCA receives digital inputs from the Pentac Digitizer via a 12 bit A/D converter and a input clock signal. The digital representations of the received RF are then converted and processed by this CCA into output PDWs for the Analysis Receiver for IF range signals. This CCA must also interface with the ECA control computer for digital control input, and to rout the PDWs back. This CCA must be fit within the MCC VXI and operate under the power supplied to this chassis. 36. 225-6008010-01 (RFEM) 10 MMPS CCA This is a digital circuit card assembly located in the VXI RIU chassis of each of the four Monitor Control Carts. This CCA must be able to fit within this chassis and operate with the supplied power. The CCA is used to provide a highly stable clock and timing signal to all components of the MCC cart it resides in, via BNC RF cables. 37. 225-5004010-01 (RFEM) ECA Input Module 7 This is the Electronic Component Assembly module for the Input Drawer for each of the Seton Receivers. This module contains RF components consisting of RF filters, amplifiers, and power dividers that are used to rout signals via the Source Selection Switch to the Seton Receiver, Monitor Receiver, and Analysis Receiver. All RF signals are routed in and out of this module via front panel connections. This module must operate using the provided power inputs. 38. 900-6008060-01 (RFEM) Receive Interface Unit (RIU) Interface Board This is a circuit card assembly that acts as an interface between the digital input signals entering the Receiver Drawers via ribbon cables from the Monitor and Analysis Drawers to all modules within the drawer using a series of switches. This CCA must fit the allotted space within the Receiver Drawer and operate using power inputs provided within this drawer. 39. 900-6008061-01 (RFEM) Status Board this is a circuit card assembly that is part of the RFEM Signal Measurement System. This CCA must be physically configured to fit the allotted space provided and operate under the given power requirements. This CCA contains the BIT switch drivers, configuration control components and power supply status. 40. A9016-021803 ATNUATR-VARI, 105dB2-18GHz RF attenuator that has a variable attenuator rate that is digitally controlled. This unit is used on the mid-band and high-band RF generation panels to model transit antenna attenuation patterns. ESD requirements specify this item must be manufactured under a manufacturing system that employs methods of control as utilized in DOD-STD-1686. A MTBF of 5,000 hours as minimum is required. 41. 903-6008010-01 CCA, MkN Generator MOD this CCA is the motherboard that makes up the complete assembly for the GenMod/AWD Assembly. Interested parties who believe they can meet all the requirements for the forty-one (41) items described in this synopsis are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the required equipment.
