Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) is changing its base software package on the IWS/LAN platform. The new software suite includes major components such as Windows 2000, Office XP, Internet Explorer 6.0 and IBM's Host Access Client Package. In order to upgrade the Disability Determination Services' (DDS) platforms, SSA plans to negotiate a sole source acquisition pursuant to FAR 12 with I. Levy and Associates 1630 Des Peres Road, St. Louis, MO Inc. for the modification of their proprietary application software used in the DDS for case processing. Interested parties should submit evidence of their experience and capabilities within 15 days of this publication. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to SSA-RFQ-02-0488. Responses should be submitted to the address cited at the beginning of this notice. The Government does not intend to pay for information provided.
