Description
The purpose of this announcement is to seek competent and qualified Small Business Sources to install a Government Furnished Mitsubishi UPS Module at the Grand Junction Air Route Surveillance Radar facility at the summit of Douglas Pass, Colorado. The evaluation process may involve face-to-face negotiations with one or more offerors at the option of the Government. This action is set-aside for Small Business sources under Code No. 235310 of the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) or Code No. 1731 of the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC). The Contractor shall be required to furnish all labor, materials, equipment (except Government Furnished Materials and Equipment), transportation, insurance, notifications, licenses, permits, fees, inspections, testing, scheduling, reporting, submittals and supervision necessary for all work associated with the installation of a Mitsubishi UPS Module. The work in general includes the following: Demolish existi! ng motor alternator and associated equipment; Install new Government Furnished Mitsubishi 9700 series, 100kVA UPS Module and associated equipment. Provide all control wiring, per manufacturer instructions; Provide UPS grounding to earth electrode system; Provide all associated electrical panel boards, conduit, wiring, junction boxes and control panels as required to complete installation and New lighting and ground system for the ATCT. The Contractor shall provide any additional labor, materials, equipment and/or appurtenances not specifically detailed, but required to complete the project. The Contract Performance Period: 30 Calendar Days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. Estimated Range of Construction: Between $100,000 and $250,000. The Request for Offer (RFO) package is expected to be available to small business participants on or about September 12, 2002, and closing date for receipt of offers estimated to be on September 24, 2002. Davis/Bacon Wage Determination, ! Bonding, Insurance and Background Checks shall be included in the RFO package.
