- The Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, San Francisco hereby solicits the following: Brachytherapy Iodine 125 Seeds for Prostate implants. Approximately activity levels of: 0.297 mCi to 0.326mCi. I-125 are "loose seeds". Calibrated seeds are required for each schedule day for procedures. Loose seeds 4000 each; calibrated seeds approximately 40 each. Request offers on pre-loaded seeds of 4000 each. Require instructions for unused seeds as well as containers from contractor. All shipping will meet all NRC and Government requirements/regulations. Services for one year plus four option years. Copy of solicitation anticipated to be posted by 9-11-02 at the latest on the website: http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.htm. Download all documents concering 261-0276-02, including any amendments prior to closing date. Contractor is solely responsible for ensuring that he/she checks the website for any amendments to the solicitation. Amendments must accompany the soliciation package.
