- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is USZA95-02-T-0040, and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The due date is 13 September 2002 no later than 12:00noon est. Quotes may be submitted via fax to Shirley Powell, (757) 878-4199, or by e-mail to spowell@tapo.eustis.army.mil. The Government intends to award a follow-on contract on a sole source basis to APW WrightLine, LLC, 601-C Merrimac Trail, Williamsburg, VA 23185. Note 22 applies. APW has provided the existing office furniture and can easily be reconfigured and moved throughout the office. It is necessary for the new furniture being requested to be compatible with the existing furniture and configurations. The requested furniture will be delivered to the Technology Applications Program Office, Bldg 401, Lee Blvd., Ft. Eustis, VA 23604. The date of delivery will be determined prior to an award. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2002-06. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 334214 and small business standard of 500 employees. Note 22 applies. The following provisions and clauses are applicable to this procurement: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items (Offerors are instructed to complete this section and return with their quote); 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items; 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items; and 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items.
