- Description
- THIS ANNOUNCMENT IS FOR THE MASTER AGREEMENT (MA) REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) FOR THE ANNUAL SOLICITATION OF THE SURVEILLANCE SUPPORT MASTER AGREEMENT POOL. POTENTIAL OFFERORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DOWNLOADING THEIR OWN COPY OF THE SOLICITATION AND AMENDMENTS. THE RFP IS AVAILABLE AT THE RESEARCH CONTRACTS BRANCH (RCB) WEBSITE ADDRESS WHICH IS http://rcb.cancer.gov/rcb-internet/appl/rfp/published_rfps.jsp Click on Current Requests for Proposals N02-PC-05034-39. The Applied Research Program (ARP) of the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS) of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) is interested in expanding the existing Surveillance Support MA Pool with the objective of conducting surveys and similar evaluation processes. The term ?survey? is used to connote a full range of studies including probability sample surveys and speciality studies requiring data abstraction. Proposed projects fall under three broad categories: rapid response to emerging issues, evaluation and methods development. Master Agreements will be issued to all respondents whose technical proposal is considered acceptable. The Master Agreement Award (MAA) is non-monetary and is issued exclusively for the purpose of compiling/expanding a pool of contractors who are pre-qualified to perform surveillance support activities. Each MA Holder will be eligible to compete for future contracts (also referred to as Master Agreement Orders (MAO)). The current Surveillance Support MA Pool was awarded October 15, 1999 and is effective through October 14, 2004. This notice will serve as the announcement of the annual solicitation. Any MA awarded as a result of this mechanism will be effect from the date of execution through October 14, 2004. This solicitation will be open for the duration of the existing MA Pool and the due date for receipt of proposals is October 30 of each year. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal and a sample requirement to be considered by the NCI. ALL MASTER AGREEMENT HOLDERS CURRENTLY INCLUDED IN THE POOL NEED NOT RESPOND TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. AGAIN, POTENTIAL OFFERORS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DOWNLOADING THEIR OWN COPY OF THE SOLICITATION AND AMENDMENTS. THE RESEARCH CONTRACTS BRANCH (RCB) WEBSITE ADDRESS IS http://rcb.cancer.gov/rcb-internet/appl/rfp/published_rfps.jsp Click on Current Requests for Proposals. Point of contact: Theresa H.
