NA JOB DESCRIPTION: The contractor is to provide labor and materials, as specified, to construct an electric security gate at the entrance to: Lake Mendocino Park Headquarters, 1160 Lake Mendocino Drive, Ukiah CA 95482. Provide all labor and materials to i nstall a commercial slide (security) gate to include slide gate footings, track, support post and gate in accordance with contract specifications and drawings. MATERIALS: Materials to include gate track 2? x 2? x ?? angle iron with ?? rebar welded 8? OC, gate support post 4? x 4? .120 rectangle tube with Delron guide rollers, gate frame bottom horizontal 2? x 6? x .120 rectangle tube, verticals 2? x 4? x .095 top horizontals 2? x 2? x .095, top verticals 1? x 1? x .095 welded 6? OC, bottom panel 2? maximu m opening wire mesh, gate guide wheels, Elite sealed bearing type, paint, Hammerite Industrial enamel. Additional materials include: 1 ? Commercial Slide Gate Automation System; 1 ? Elite Mdl# SL-3000UL Slide Gate Operator & Control Panel; 1 ? DoorKing P rogrammable Radio Receiver & Antenna Kit; 30 ? DoorKing Block Coded Transmitters; 1 ? DoorKing Ddl# 1400 Fire Box; 1 ? Photo Eyes UL325; 1 ? 365 Day Timer; 1 ? Safety Edge; 1 ? Reversing Loop Detector Module; 2 ? Saw-in Pre-wired Reversing Loop. This Proc urement will be conducted under FSC CODE:Y299, SIC CODE:1542, NAICS Code: 233320. The size standard for these codes is $28.5 MILLION. All RESPON SES are due in not later than 16 SEP 02/1500 (3:00 pm). ORDERING SOLICITATION: The solicitation for this project will be available on the Sacramento District Contracting Division?s Internet Home Page at http://ebs.spk.usace.army.mil/ for downloading. Any future amendments to the solicitation will also be available for download from this web site. REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION IN ANY OTHER FORMAT THAN WHAT IS ADVERTISED WILL BE DISREGARDED. . It is important that you first go to this web s ite and under contract division home page, click on the advertised solicitation you are interested in. Go to plan holders registration. This will require you to establish a user name and password. Keep the user name and password and share it with anyone else in your organization that is responsible for registering your firm on plan holders lists. With our new system you only have to do the full registration one time. If you have your user name and password, you can always go back into the system and re gister for other jobs without having to go through the entire registration process. However, you can only do this by using your initial user name and password. In order to receive notification of any amendments to the solicitation you are required to reg ister for the plan holders? list. Please complete all requested information. The solicitation will be available for download on 12 SEP 02. To download the solicitation, you need to go to the Sacramento District Contracting Division?s Internet Home Page at http://ebs.spk.usace.army.mil/. From there click on SAN FRANCISCO District, then it will take you to list of advertised solicitations and then from there click on the desired solicitation number. And at the bottom of this page, there is a bar that say s download/view solicitation files. Select plans or specs from the drop down box and press go button. This will take you to the next page, then from there click on the file name and download. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be consi dered by the agency. Please note that all contractors and potential contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database, eff ective 31 May 1998.
