Description
The Human Systems Program Office, 311 HSW/YA, intends to issue a 100% small business set-aside solicitation for Coverall, Anti-Exposure, CWU-16P, NSN 8475-00-768-2048, P/N: MIL-C-38488A. Support. Relative NAICS code 336413. The following is provided: Size/Dimensions: One size fits all. Predominate Material of Manufacture: Polychoroprene on Nylon. Form/Fit/Function: Coveralls to be donned by aircrew member to protect from exposure in case of aircraft ditching over water. Applicable: 412A Life Support Multi-Aircraft, Critical Application. First Article Contractor Testing with conditions for waiver applies. Quantity: (1) First Article Test Report/Documentation IAW DD Form 1423: 1 Lot, FOB Destination, (2) First Article Quantity: 2 each, FOB Destination, and (3) Production Quantity: 2,419 each (USAF Requirement) and 10 each (FMS Requirement), FOB Origin. Government Required Delivery Schedule: (1) Test Report: 95 Days from date of contract award, (2) First Article: IAW DD Form 1423, and (3) Production: 500 each, 120 Days after First Article Approval or 500 each 120 days after contract award (First Article Testing waived) and continued at a rate of 500 each per month thereafter. For a copy of the Engineering Data List, AFMC Form 762, dated 15 Mar 99 (1 page), please provide a written request via fax or email to the buyer/PCO and a copy will be mailed/emailed. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be released on 15 Aug 02. Anticipated award date is 26 Sep 02. For the purposes of award, offers will be evaluated based on the following factors, listened in descending order of importance: Price, Delivery, Transportation.
