- Description
- The 89th contracting Squadron, Andrews Air Force Base intends to negotiate a sole source contract with FUJI MDEICAL SYSTEMS, 419 WEST AVENUE; STAMFORD CT 06902 for maintenance, calibration and repair of the Fuji FM-DPL, Dry laser Printers as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS)to be used by the Malcolm Grow Medical Center. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price service contract. Negotiation being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR6.302-1 (b)(1). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR6.302. Interested persons may submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all proposals received within (3) days after date of publication of this synopsis. The government will not be responsible for a cost incurred in preparation of request for quotation. A determination by the government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
