Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate a sole source simplified acquisition with Plumtree Software, Inc., 500 Sansome Street, San Francisco, CA 94111-3211, under GSA Contract Number GS-35F-0040M, to provide additional software licenses for an existing pilot program. These software licenses are compatible with the equipment and hardware. Plumtree Software will provide Plumtree Corporate Portal 4.5 WS User Licenses and Product Maintenance/Support and Plumtree Gadgets for Groupware and Excel and associated product Maintenance/Support. Interested parties that believe they have the ability to provide SSA these software licenses can identify their capability to the Contracting Officer via fax or email. All interested offerors must submit pricing information and proposed offered product(s) to the Contracting Officer by 3:00 p.m., local prevailing time on Tuesday, September 24, 2002. This is not a request for quotation or announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. No solicitation will be issued therefore requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. If no viable responses are received by 3:00 p.m., local prevailing time, on Tuesday, September 24, 2002, the government will issue a purchase order to Plumtree Software, Inc.
