- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation of Purchase Request FQ500421830400 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-08. (iv) This acquisition is for Small business set aside. The associated NAICS code is 332999 and small business size standard is 500. (v & vi) Line Item 0001, Mezzanine 25' long x 22' wide to include: column spacing 12'6"x11', Clear Height 12', top of deck height 13' 2-3/8", design live load 150 psf, all necessary 20 ga. 1-1/2" deep, type B painted roof deck (white underside) with 12 ga unpainted floor plate, columns to be 6" x 6" with 12" baseplates. Framing system is designed using 12" C-section, 85 feet of kick plate per ISHA 99 code, 85 feet of 2-level rail per OSHA 9 code, One 36" wide straight platform at the top, Stair system is external and designed per OSHA 99 Code with closed treads and open risers and hand rail, One 72" wide swing gate, erection drawings and installation instructions included. MFR: Wildeck or equal The quote should include freight charges to Eielson AFB. Line Item 0002 Mechanical installation in free and clear area, during normal business hours, off-loading and staging by others. Insludes life equipment and anchors. (vii) N/A (viii) FAR clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) FAR clause 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items, is not applicable. (x) Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provision at FAR clause 52.212-3 Alt 1, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with the quote. Offerors must also include a completed copy of the provision at DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representation. (xi) FAR Part 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
