This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. FUNDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT, HOWEVER, REQUEST FOR FUNDING IS INCLUDED IN THE FY 02 END OF YEAR SPEND PLAN. AWARD IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDS BECOMING AVAILABLE ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER 30TH, 2002. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation, #F33CES21650100. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. Notice: This acquisition is set aside for small business and is under NAICS code 443112, not to exceed $7.5M. Requirement is to provide the following items: (01) 3015 Intercoms, p/n 106-0315-12 - 12 Ea (02) MR-1X interface cable for Motorola Astro radios - 12 Ea (03) UH- 10 Headsets, p/n 105-0092-00 - 41 Ea (04) UH - 20 Headsets, p/n 105-0093-00 - 4 Ea (05) Headset hanger hooks, p/n 108-0676-00 - 29 Ea (06) PP-20 Plug-in module, p/n 107-0413-00 - 3 Ea (07) He-150 15 - Extension Cable, p/n 108-0675-00 - 3 Ea (08) HH-22X Handheld interface cable for Motorola XTS3000 - 16 Ea (09) HM-10 Headset plug-in Module 37 (10) Crimp Tool, p/n 108-0023-00 - 1 Ea. MFG., is Motorola. If you are quoting an Equal, you must provide the MFG., Model Number and other requirements prescribed in FAR 52.211-6. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote without discussions. Evaluation will be based on price and price related factors. Include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (JUL 2002), with quote. An electronic version is available for download. FAR clause 52.212-4 (FEB 2002), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition.
