Description

SOL N/A (SYNOPSIS PUBLISHED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY--Solicitation document NOT available). The Government intends to award on a sole source basis IAW FAR 6.302-1, and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), a purchase order to Robert E. Riffel, an individual, for consultation services. Period of performance will be one year. This requirement is a noncompetitive contract action to purchase consulting services to ensure compliance with the Military child Care Act of 1996 and the Department of Defense (DoD) regulations governing DoD Child and Youth Development Programs. Mr. Riffel?s institutional knowledge of DLA DYDP coupled with his past work experience with the Corps of Engineers (chief designer of the DoD childcare centers standard design), make him specifically qualified for this contract. He has been involved in the policy approval, review of blueprint, and identification of architectural/design for the on-going center construction project at Defense Depot Susquehanna Pennsylvania.
