Description

NA DESC: This requirement is for the Lease/Service of Portable Chemical Latrines (toilets) for the Mississippi Army National Guard (MSARNG) located at Camp Shelby Training Site, Camp Shelby, Mississippi. Proposed contract will be a Requirement Contact for a b ase year with two option years. The Government intents to award in accordance with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation that is most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Factors used to evaluate offers are price and past performance. The Government estimates a minimum of 50 units being used during slow training periods up to a ma ximum of 400 units during peak periods of training. However, the Government does not guarantee a minimum or maximum number of units during the duration of the contract. The magnitude of the contract is between $100,000 and $500,000 for the duration of th e contract. The solicitation is set aside for small business. This requirement is being procured under full and open competition; the appropriate SIC code is 7359 (size standard is $6 million). A Pre-Bid/Site Visit has been schedule for October 16, 2002. Request for proposal packages will be available on or about October 11, 2002 with proposals due on 25 October 2002. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to be awarded a contract unde r this solicitation.
