Description
NA Specification for the purchase of a piece of test equipment: Input Voltage ? 85 to 265 Volts AC 50/60 Hz Phase Reference Input Current ? 0.5 to 5 Amps Phase Reference Voltage ? 10 to 30 volts Voltage Outputs ? Ranges: 3 ? phase ramped or step function in all 3 phases 0 to 120 volts @ 60VA; 0 to 240 Volts @ 60 VA Accuracy ? From 10 to 100% of range at full load, 40 to 80 Hertz, maximum 1% Output Frequency ? Range = 10 to 500 Hertz Resolution = .001 Hertz Accuracy = Less than 50 ppm for frequencies above 40 Hertz Frequency accuracy must be linearly derated to 200 ppm at 10 hertz Dynamic Capabilities: The frequency must be able to be ramped or a step function be available. Digital Timer ? Display six (6) digits, ranges = seconds and cycles; accuracy = +/- least significant digit or +/- .005% of reading, whichever is greater, in the seconds mode, +/- .5 cycles in the cycles mode Stop Gates ? Dry Contacts normally open and normally closed. This test equipment is going to be used along with a SR-90 Relay test set to test three-phase protective relays. It must have the following features available: a) Graphically displays voltage and phase angles to visually monitor the values for testing protective relays b) Single-phase; three-phase open delta; three-phase T-connect; three-phase Wye; and three-phase delta output of both voltages and phase angles fo r testing virtually all impedance relays c) Output Voltages, Phase angles, and Frequency must be independently of simultaneously selectable and fully adjustable in performaing three-phase or phase-to-phase tests without the use of a computer d) Voltage pha se angles must be adjustable from 0 to 360 degrees to provide multiple fault testing parameters and calibration settings.
