Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N61339-03-T-0002 is issued as a request for quote and incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-9. This solicitation shall be awarded on a sole source basis to MDS Nordian International Inc. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 325998 with a size standard of 500 employees. This is a firm fixed price requirement. The anticipated award date is 15 October 2002. The following items are required: CLIN 0001, Gammacell 220 Excel Self-contained High Dose Rate Research Irradiator, P/N:GC220R, Qty: 1 each, CLIN 0002, Extended Preventive Maintenance Service Contract, P/N: GC000PM3, Qty: 1 each. Delivery shall be made no later than 6 months after date of contract to Transportation Office, Building 5464, Dugway Proving Ground, Dugway, Utah 84022; acceptance shall be made at destination upon delivery. Delivery shall be made FOB Destination. The following FAR/DFARS provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 Deviation. FAR/DFARS clauses can be located at the following site: http://www.arnet.gov/far. FAR 52.212-1(b) is amended to read: NAVAIR, Attn: Carol Shuler, Code 2536, 12350 Research Parkway, Orlando FL 32826 at or before 1300 (1:00 PM), EST, 15 October 2002. Quotations also may be Faxed to (407) 380-8318, or emailed to caroline_shuler@stricom.army.mil. The following clauses of DFARS 252.212-7001(a), (b) and (c) apply: 52.203-3, 252.225-7001, 252.225-7012, 252.243-7002 and 252.247-7023.
