Description

NA This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for the lease of three(3) End Loaders with 4 yard bucket, Cab, Heater, and Defrost and Articulate Center. Vendor will respond for breakdowns within 24 hours of notification from the Procurement Office. Vendor will give a class on the operation of equipment to select group of employees, not to be over four(4) people, if requested. Vendor will be responsible for all scheduled maintenance, repair parts, labor and replacement of cutting edges. For the period 01 Nov 02 thru 31 Mar 03 (5 months)prepared in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR 13 and the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitat ion; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ) under DABJ27-03-T-0010. This request for quotations and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect t hrough Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09. This action is set aside for small business; the NAICS code and applicable size standard is 532412 and 50 employees. A fixed price contract is anticipated for one line item. CLIN 0001, Quantity 3 EA, rent thre e (3) End loaders with cab, heater, and defrost. Articulate center. For the period 01 Nov 02, thru 31 Mar 03. Offeror is to submit technical information displaying features of proposed product. Delivery will be made to DSS, 2108 S 8th Ave, Fort McCoy, WI 54656. Prices submitted are to be FOB Destination. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror s-Commercial (no addenda), and FAR 52.212-3 Alt I, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. The provision at FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items is included. Paragraph (a) is completed as follows: The fac tors to be used in the evaluation of offers are (i) technical capability and (ii) price; paragraph (b) is completed as follows: Technical and price factors are equal in value. In accordance with FAR 39.106, the contractor shall ensure the offered product and all information technology (IT) contained therein shall be Year 2000 Compliant. PARTIES INTERESTED IN RESPONDING TO RFQ may submit their quote in accorda nce with standard commercial practice (i.e. quote form, letterhead, etc.) and MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: Solicitation number; offeror?s complete mailing and remittance addresses; discount terms; unit prices, extended total price; anticipated d elivery time after award, technical information displaying features of proposed product, DUNS number, and COMPLETED FAR 52.212-3 Alt I.
