Description

PRE-AD: Waldo Lake Toilets Phase II & III. This is advance notification of a proposed procurement action for the Waldo Lake Toilet Buildings. This will allow prospective offerors the opportunity to conduct a site visit while weather permits. Prebid tour is scheduled for November 6, 2002, 11:00 a.m. at the North Waldo, Islet and Shadow Bay campgrounds at Waldo Lake, Oregon. The prebid tour will start at Shadow Bay campground. The project consists of construction of four composting toilet buildings, each with photovoltaic systems, five vault toilet buildings, demolition of five flush toilet comfort stations, demolition of six vault toilets, and reconstruction of a waste disposal site. Each composting building will house three digester units. Waldo Lake can be located by traveling approximately 80 miles east of Eugene, Oregon, on Highway 58. Then turn north from Highway 58 and travel approximately 7 miles on Forest Service Road 5897, Willamette National Forest. The estimated cost range for this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This project is total HUBZone small Business Concern Set-Aside. Offers from other than certified HUBZone contractors will not be considered. Contract performance time is 450 calendar days. Estimated start work date is June 1, 2003.
