Description: NA The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement for the services of an Authorized GE Service Representative to provide technical guidance and electricians, machinist, laborers, equipment, and materials to the work described in the Scope of Work/Specifications contained in the solicitation. In general the work to be performed on various winch motors, motor/generator sets, DC motors, dredge generators, winch cabinets, circuit breakers, rectifier bank, transformer, limit amp starter, and excit ers. Work includes meggar on each motor, inspect and clean as required. Specific work and equipment is detailed in the scope of work/work specifications. Work is to be performed onboard the U.S. Dredge Wheeler while docked at the New Orleans District He adquarters located at 7400 Leake Ave, New Orleans, LA beginning on or about December 01, 2002 and completed no later than 31 December 2002. Wage Determination number 94-2233 rev 20 for the New Orleans area applies to this solicitation. Solicitation No. DACW29-03-T-0003 is issued as a Firm Fixed Price Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation is issued as unrestricted. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219 and the business size standard is $6.0 million. The requirement is being procured as a firm fixed price contract under FAR 12, Commercial Items.
