Description
The Federal Aviation Administration, Northwest Mountain Region intends to purchase approximately 31 freestanding workstations integrated with a panel system, including installation for the Airport Traffic Control Tower and Base Building in SeaTac, WA. The solicitation will also request pricing for seating, bookcases, lateral files, storage cabinets, conference tables, and other accessories. The contract award will be for the free-standing/panel systems furniture, however the successful offeror will be considered as the source of first choice for the other project elements if, items offered are considered the best value. Multiple awards can/may result from this solicitation for the various other project elements. Offerors should be aware that the FAA is exempt from soliciting from GSA mandatory Federal Supply Schedule contracts, but it is still eligible for GSA FSS pricing. The solicitation will be issued on a full and open competition basis without business size or! minority status classification a consideration for award. It is the desire of the FAA to solicit directly from furniture dealers located or covering the Seattle, WA region in order to have a local contract for on-site furniture issues that may arise during delivery/installation. Solicitation packages will be available on-or-about November 1st, 2002. Interested parties must submit a request in writing for a copy of the Request for Offer package to the following address: Federal Aviation Administration, Acquisition Management Branch, ANM/LSSC11, 1601 Lind Ave., SW, Renton, WA, 98055. Facsimile requests will be accepted at (425) 227-1055. Verbal requests will not be honored.
