- The Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Solid Waste (OSW) has a requirement for RCRA Hazardous and Solid Waste Support services. The services include providing permitting, corrective action, state authorization, implementation and tribal waste management support under Subtitles C and D of RCRA. The procurement is to support the program in planning, assessing and implementing RCRA hazardous and solid waste programs. This requirement will be procured as a small business set-aside. The anticipated release date for the Request for Proposals (RFP) is late December 2002. The procurement is anticipated to result in the award of one (1) cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF) level-of-effort contract that provides for a two-year base period of 20,000 direct labor hours in the base quantity, with optional quantities potentially totaling 6,000 direct labor hours; a two-year Option Period 1 base quantity of 20,000 direct labor hours, with optional quantities potentially totaling 6,000 direct labor hours; and a one-year Option Period 2 base quantity of 10,000 direct labor hours, with optional quantities potentially totaling 3,000 direct labor. The total potential level-of-effort is 65,000 direct labor hours. The statement of work requirements fall under NAICS code 541620. The purpose of this announcement is to notify potential offerors of EPA's requirement, generate the source list, and to direct interested parties to the EPA's "Contracting with EPA" Internet World Wide Web site (http://www.epa.gov/oam/srpod/) for further information on this procurement as it becomes available. Interested parties must forward requests to be placed on the source list to the Contract Specialist via Internet E-mail to donawa.holly@epa.gov. <mailto:donawa.holly@epa.gov.> Telephonic requests for information relating to this procurement will not be honored. In an effort to streamline the procurement process, and to utilize the Internet and electronic communications to the maximum extent possible, the subject RFP, amendments and other related items for this procurement will be posted on the EPA Office of Acquisition Management's (OAM) homepage, under the area entitled "Contracting with EPA." Also posted on the Internet will be an ongoing status update to inform interested parties of current information related to the procurement. Potential offerors are required to download the RFP and amendments from this internet location as hard copies will not be available.
