Description

The Contractor shall provide all labor and material, with the exception of any Government Furnished Property listed above, to accomplish the following: 3.1 GENERAL PERFORMANCE PERIOD/LOCATION: All work shall be accomplished onboard CGC POLAR STAR and shall be completed from 04 Feb, 2002 to 21 Feb, 2002 This Scope of Work is expected to require work to be performed within the facility of Todd Pacific Shipyard, Seattle. Prior to receiving permission to access that facility, the requirements of enclosure 2.2.1 must be met. The cutter will be at Todd Pacific Shipyard from 04 Oct, 2002 to 03 Feb 2003. The following compartments are a minimum list of those which will be affected: 01-143-0 Helicopter Hangar All hotwork is to be complete in accordance with references 2.1.g and 2.1.f. Coordinate all inspections with the designated Coast Guard Inspector to minimize production delays. There may be discrepancies with what is called out as existing on the drawing and what is actually existing on the cutter. Therefore, the drawings shall only be used as guidance for locating the affected work area and systems. A ship check by the prospective bidders is recommended to determine the actual work required.
