Description

MODIFICATION: DEALINE will be November 18, 2002; 2pm Eastern Time. Deadline to answer all questions will be November 15, 2002; 5pm Eastern Time. BRAND NAME OR EQUAL. ALL-OR-NONE. NO SPLIT SHIPMENTS. LOWEST PRICE TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE (LPTA) MUST MEET ALL SPECIFICATIONS. SPECIFICATIONS REQUIRED. REQUIRED DELIVERY: December 9, 2002 (Deliver after December 5, 2002 if delivering early). NOTE TO VENDOR: Notify freight forwarder that delivery must be at the 17th street entrance between the hours of 8:AM and 2 PM Monday through Thursday. A lift gate truck is required for delivery due to no loading dock at drop off location. All responsible small businesses may submit a quote which if timely received shall be considered by the agency. Vendors shall fax quote (using uploaded solicitation) by the deadline (November 18, 2002, 2:00pm Eastern Time) to P.O.C. Vendors shall call to confirm receipt after faxing quote. Single Station Smoke Detector, Ten Year Type (Residential) with a Ten Year Battery service life. Unit must be equal to FYRNETICS model 0916LL. Color of detector is off white and units are individually packaged. 4,000EA. The smoke alarms must comply with UL, FHA, HUD, and NFPA safety standards. The alarm must detect products of combustion using the ionization technique. It must contain 0.9 microcurie of Americium 241, a radioactive material distributed under U.S. NRC License 32-23858-01E and in compliance with NRC safety criteria in 10 CFR 32.27. The smoke alarm must come with the ULTRALIFE U9VL Lithium Type battery and the alarm must operate with HUSH Control to temporarily silence nuisance alarms.
