Description

Synopsis: Sealed bids from all business concerns will be accepted for NASA Access Road Project NASA 1(2), Prince George's County, Maryland. The project consists of removal and placement of structural concrete, hot asphalt concrete pavement, guardrail, bridge substructure, and erection of structural steel. The project is expected to fall within the price range of $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Bid documents are scheduled to be issued on or about Nov 4, 2002. Bids will be due Dec 3, 2002. Solicitation documents will be available for download on the Federal Business Opportunities website. Plans may be requested by emailing eflhd.contracts@fhwa.dot.gov . ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT's Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT's Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000 with interest at the prime rate.
