- Description
- Furnish all material, labor, equipment and transportation necessary to renovate the bathrooms in the BEQ and to install new flooring and cabinets in the 3 bedroom housing units at Station Neah Bay. The work includes but is not limited to the following: (A) BEQ: (1) Demolition of existing ceramic tile flooring/sheet vinyl flooring, plastic wall paneling, toilet partitions, shower enclosures, vanities, sinks and toilets; (2) Installation of new ceramic tile flooring and wainscoting; (3) Installation of new vanities, fixtures and accessories; (4) Installation of new ceramic tile showers. (B) Housing Units A through H: (1) Installation of new sheet vinyl flooring over existing vinyl asbestos tile flooring;(2) Installation of new kitchen cabinets and countertops and bathroom vanities; (3) Reinstallation of existing appliances and fixtures, in existing locations. The period of performance is 120 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. This procurement is estimated between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 and is open to both small and large business in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 233220. Size Standards is $28.5. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The due dates for bids will be approximately 07 January 2003. This date is estimated and may change. All responsible sources are encouraged to respond. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
