Description
NA CONTACT Robert A. Weir, 732 532-8875. This is a Market Research -sources-sought- notice to locate sources for a Non-developmental, Replacement High-Voltage Power Supply -HVPS- defined by Army Performance Specification #A3285976 -Complete text can be found at: https://abop.monmouth.army.mil/. This HVPS will replace the existing -legacy-HVPS which is used in the AN-TSC-85 and AN-TSC-93 Tactical Satellite Communication Terminals. If any source can furnish an -NDI solution- for this replacement HVPS they must so indicate by e-mail, phone calls will not be accepted: Robert.Weir@mail1.monmouth.army.mil. The existing HVPS converts 3-phase, 208 VAC, 47.5-63 Hz power into regulated output voltage of -5,600 VDC at 2,660 watts to power a Klystron Tube that is in the High Power Amplifier HPA. The HVPS also provides HPA control-protection. The combination of the HVPS and HPA is used to amplify a low level FM-SHF -X-Band- signal and feed a parabolic antenna. It is proposed to acquire approximately 450 HVPSs via Indefini te Delivery-Indefinite Quantity, Basic + Four -4-Option Years. Interested parties should be aware that the Replacement HVPS contract would include the following requirements: Delivery of five -5- pre-production samples by 60 DAC Production delivery schedu le of 12-30 units per month commencing 150 DAC Provide a 36-month Warranty, with 24 hour CONUS and 48 hour OCONUS turn-around time. Any response MUST include documentation detailing how the acceptance-interoperability testing of this HVPS will be accomplis hed. In addition, verification and proof of the commercial technical data sheets -parameters- is required - Test results, detailed technical analysis, etc. will be required. The successful supplier will be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. This is not an RFP.
