Description
NA CONTACT Robert Weir, 732) 532-8875. this is a Market Research (sources-sought) to locate additional sources for a Non-Developmental, Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS)/modified COTS, Enhanced Tactical Satellite Signal Processor (ETSSP). Current sources for existing ETSSPs are defined by the following: Model #SHM-1337 (L3 Communications Systems-West, Salt Lake City, UT), and Model #NSM-8448 (TriPoint Global/VertexRSI). The ETSSP will become part of the AN/TSC-85/93 Tactical Satellite Communication Terminals a nd will replace the existing (legacy) TSSP. If any source can furnish either of the above referenced ETSSPs, they must so indicate by e-mail, phone calls will not be accepted: Robert.Weir@mail1.monmouth.army.mil. Complete technical data for the manufactur e or acceptance of this item is not available from the Army. The ensuing procurement effort will proceed as an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with a Basic year and four Option years - Current forecast quantity is for approximatel y 300 each over the IDIQ effort. Contractual requirements will include: Delivery of five (5) pre-production samples 60 DAC. Production delivery schedule of 12-30 units per month commencing 150 DAC Provide a 36-month Warranty, with a 24 hour CONUS and 48 ho ur OCONUS turn-around time. Support/participate in the Joint User's Interoperability Communications Exercise (JUICE) in August 2003 for the purpose of a Joint Interoperability Test Center (JITC) Certification Test. The COTS ETSSP must be JITC certified whi ch will be a requirement of acceptance. If the above items are offered (by other than the sources referenced), a copy of a purchase order, if the supplier was a vendor to a current source, or a statement from the current source demonstrating that the suppl ier can in fact supply the item, is required. Any response MUST include documentation detailing how the acceptance/interoperability/certification testing of this ETSSP will be accomplished. In addition, verification and proof of the commercial technical d ata sheets (parameters) is required - Test results, detailed technical analysis, etc. will be required. The successful supplier will be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
