- United States Government The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency Notice of Intent to Compete a Succeeding Lease Requirement: The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), a bureau of the U.S. Department of Treasury, occupies office space in Landover, Maryland under a lease that expires in the late Spring of 2003. The OCC seeks to lease a turn-key data center and related office space in approximately 28,000 - 32,000 BOMA rentable square feet of contiguous space. Special requirements include UPS, robust electrical components (switchgear and distribution), back-up generator, raised flooring, loading dock, and supplemental air conditioning. The OCC will relocate if consideration of the economics involved and other factors are favorable. The cost of moving, alterations, occupant agency mission, among other items, will be considered when deciding to relocate. Location: The building must be located within the following boundaries of Landover: Sheriff Road to the North, I-95/I-495 to the East, Central Avenue to the South, and Hill Road to the West. Term: Lease term will be for three (3) years firm with two one (1) year renewal options. Occupancy: Space should be ready for tenant improvements by January 2003. Owners & Authorized Agents: Expressions of interest should be submitted to the following address within 5 calendar days from the date of this advertisement and should include the following information: 1. Building name and address 2. Available rentable and usable square footage and rate per rentable and usable square foot 3. Method of measurement for the space 4. Common area factor 5. Date space is available 6. Proposed floor 7. Owner?s name and address and written statement from owner that offeror has legal authority to provide information on the property.
